Photofacial Phoenix

Blemishes, such as vascular and pigmented lesions, can be greatly reduced by undergoing a photofacial at The Paradise Valley Skin & Body Clinic. John A.D. Ward, M.D., F.A.C.S. is a qualified Phoenix plastic surgeon who oversees our skin care med spa near the neighboring areas of Paradise Valley, such as Scottsdale and Glendale, AZ.

Having more than 22 years of experience, Dr. Ward has been voted one of the “Top Docs” as seen in Phoenix Magazine, and holds membership with the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) and board certification from the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS). Patients can expect a welcoming and professional environment when visiting The Paradise Valley Skin & Body Clinic for an IPL photofacial treatment.

What is a photofacial?

A photofacial emits direct intense pulses of light (IPL) on the skin’s surface in order to break up blemishes and lesions. A photofacial treatment utilizing the StarLux IPL laser can improve skin texture and tone. The most commonly targeted areas include the:

  • Face
  • Neck
  • Chest
  • Hands

Under the guidance of our trained aesthetician, you will have the opportunity to design your own skin care treatment program. For instance, you may wish to undergo a diamond microdermabrasion treatment along with your IPL photofacial. Through the use of a diamond tip rather than crystals, this microdermabrasion procedure can diminish the appearance and quality of blemishes, skin debris, and imperfections.

Our Phoenix, Scottsdale, and Glendale photofacial patients can expect satisfying results at The Paradise Valley Skin & Body Clinic; we use the most up-to-date technology. Before and after photos displaying patient results are available to view prior to your appointment, and additional samples photos can also be requested during your consultation.
